📋 What Is the Digital SAT Exam?

The Digital SAT is a standardized, computer-based exam administered by the College Board, used in the admissions process of many international universities, especially those in the United States. As of 2024, the exam has fully transitioned from the paper-based format to a fully computer-based format — a change that has significantly altered both how the exam works and how you should properly prepare for it.

The exam consists of two main sections: Reading and Writing and Math. Each section is divided into 2 modules; in total, the exam has 4 modules and contains 98 questions. The total exam duration is 2 hours and 14 minutes — notably shorter than the old paper-based SAT.

The most important and most confusing feature of the Digital SAT is its adaptive format: the difficulty level of the questions in the 2nd module of each section is automatically determined by the exam system based on your performance in the 1st module of that same section. If you perform well in the first half of the exam, you’ll face harder questions in the second module — questions that, if answered correctly, yield a higher score; if not, the second module will consist of easier questions with a lower score ceiling. 📚 biSAT Curriculum — 34 Units, 8 Official Domains

biSAT consists of 34 complete lesson units covering all 8 official content domains defined by the College Board for the Digital SAT.
